Women DRONERESPONDERS Group Launched to Empower Female Professionals in Public Safety UAS

MIAMI, FL – AIRT’s DRONERESPONDERS program has launched its Women DRONERESPONDERS group, a dedicated network for female professionals in public safety unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This initiative aims to foster a supportive community, promote professional development, and increase female representation within the rapidly growing field of public safety drones.

The Women DRONERESPONDERS group will provide a platform for women to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. Members will have access to exclusive resources, mentorship opportunities, and networking events designed to advance their careers in public safety UAS.

“We are thrilled to launch the Women DRONERESPONDERS group and empower female professionals in this exciting and dynamic field,” said Charles Werner, Director, DRONERESPONDERS. “By creating a dedicated space for women to connect and grow, we aim to inspire the next generation of female leaders in public safety UAS.”

The steering committee includes Paige Fitzgerald, deputy director of Deleware emergency management agency, Chuck Moran, founder of Online Video Mastery, Katie Thielmeyer, risk reduction officer & UAS program manager for Woodlawn Fire Department in the Cincinnati area, and Amy Wiegand, DR board member and founder of Earhart Alden & Associates.
